Ximending - Taipei, Taiwan



XIMENDING, TAIPEI - TAIWAN

Ximending is called "the Harajuku of Taiwan", which is one of the most popular places to visit in Taipei, Taiwan.

Ximending is famous for the youth fashions, restaurants, street food, and live music. Ximending shopping area is easy to get there from Exit 6 of Ximen Station.

Ah Zhong Mee Sua :

Ah Zhong Mee Sua is vermicelli with pork intestines. It is very famous at Ximending..Normally it has a long queue but it is very quick to serve the mee sua.

Taiwan Trip ~ August 2015

It was my first time visiting Taiwan..and it was amazing..! :)

I visited Taipei, Taichung, and Nantou (Cingjing Farm) on 16 August to 22 August 2015 ...I had a great time in Taiwan...I climbed the Elephant Mountain...I explored Jiufen Old Street...I released the sky lantern in Shifen...I had photo sessions with beautiful flowers in Taichung...I fed the sheeps at Cingjing Farm...I tried the yummy local Taiwanese food..I had the private white sulphur hotspring...I stayed at the themed hotel..and I had the cute moments at Hello Kitty Cafe.. :)

Taiwan is a beautiful country and Taiwanese people are friendly..

* AMMAN
Amman is the capital and the most populous city of Jordan. At Citadel Hill, You can see beautiful Amman city, enjoy Jordanian music, visit Roman Amphitheater and Jordan Folklore Museum.




* PETRA
Petra is one of the ancient Wonders of the World and UNESCO World heritage site

Wadi Rum, also known as ‘The Valley of the Moon’, is one of the most stunning desert landscapes in the world.

Welcome to Jordan..!

It was our first Jordan Trip...and we were sooo excited to explore Jordan..!

We booked a customized private Jordan tour (with a car and a professional driver) for 5 days 4 nights from Dnata Travel. We met our driver at Amman Queen Alia International Airport, and the driver brought us to check in the hotel and get around Amman. 

On the next days the driver brought us to Mount Nebo, Madaba, Kerak, Petra, Wadi Rum (at Wadi Rum we took a private jeep tour with a local driver which was already arranged by Dnata Travel), Bethany - Jordan River (The Baptism Site of Jesus Christ) (at Bethany we joined with a local tour with a local tour guide which were arranged by Dnata Travel), Jerash, and Dead Sea.

Amman is the capital and the most populous city of Jordan. 

We couldn't wait to start our Amman Trip, so we directly went to our first interesting place : Citadel ! See my happy face.... Hahahaha.. ;p

We could see Amman city view from Citadel Hill... Veryyy..veryyyy nice Amman City...!

We could also see Roman Amphitheater from here (see the right below):

In Citadel, we could also find Temple of Hercules:

And...Tralalalalala....Tralalalalalalalala....The Jordanian musicians played fantastic Jordanian songs.. :)

After "dancing" with those Jordanian songs, we continued to visit Roman Amphitheater and Jordan Folklore Museum near the Roman Amphitheater. 


There were some Traditional Bedouin Clothings in the museum:

And...Jordanian army clothing.. :)

After Amman City Trip, our driver gave us Jordanian Sweets : Kanafeh..
** Kanafeh = Jordanian sweet made of very fine vermicelli-like pastry with soft cheese.. Veryyyyyy Yummyyyyyy..... :)

Petra is located 240 kilometres south of the capital Amman.

Petra is one of the ancient Wonders of the World and UNESCO World heritage site. Petra has been chosen by the BBC as one of "the 40 places you have to see before you die", so without doubt that Petra is the most famous attraction in Jordan.


During the 6th–4th centuries BC, Petra was created by Nabateans, a nomadic tribe from the northwestern part of Arabia who moved into southern Jordan. Petra was discovered by the Swiss explorer Johann Ludwig Burckhardt in 1812 after being lost by the 16th century for almost 300 years! It was described as "a rose-red city half as old as time".

Al Khazneh ("The Treasury") is very beautiful.. A massive façade, 30m wide and 43m high, carved out of the dusky pink, rock-face and dwarfing everything around it. It was carved in the early 1st century as the tomb of an important Nabataean king and later may have served as a temple. Al Khazneh ("The Treasury") is the most beautiful monument in Jordan and of an architectural style unique in the ancient world.
